moist mix with a zesty tang of citrus.

Contrary to popular belief that eggfoods should only be fed
when there are chicks in the nest a coarse moist food is an excellent addition
to any medium to large birds feeding routine. During the off season a small
amount once or twice each week in addition to your birds normal feed will assist
in providing proteins and extra vitamins quite often missing from a purely seed
based diet. As the breeding season approaches an increase in eggfood will
normally bring your birds into condition quite quickly. Then of course it is a
good idea to make eggfood freely available while there are chicks in the nest.
Then it is generally time for your birds to moult and again the extra vitamins
and proteins contained in this eggfood will assist in a smooth clean moult.
