Aves-Start
Premix for the preparation of a complete fresh egg-rearing diet for seed
eating birds, as Canaries, indigenous and exotic Finches, Budgerigars,
Lovebirds, Parakeets and Parrots.
Ingredients: 3 crisp-bakes (30 gram) or 8 spoonfuls of biscuit meal or
40 gram ground dried bread
1 egg (60 g.), boiled for 7 minutes, shell removed, 1 spoonful of AVES-START
Preparation : Mix biscuits or ground bread with one spoonful of
AVES-START.
Add the peeled egg to it and mix it in a blender. Cool it and store in
refrigerator.
When to use: Breeding birds: 2 weeks prior to mating (or before the first
egg is expected) until the young birds are transferred. Also during moult of
adult birds. Juveniles: from hatching until the end of the moult. Thereafter,
switch over to Aves-Plus.
Contents: 200 g for ± 4 kg egg-rearing food
Advantages: fresh egg-rearing food, the only rearing food containing
whole egg, homogeneous composition, does not contain colorants, contains enough
vitamin A for recessive white canaries, can be stored in the freezer for
prolonged time, proved to be one of the best rearing diets since 1976
